Ice Cream Sandwich Coming To 16 HTC Smartphones

Taiwanese company HTC has announced the list of mobile devices which will receive an update to Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The company said it would be rolling out Android 4.0 to its devices over the next few weeks. "Few innovations have improved upon ice cream as much putting it between two cookies and making a sandwich. Which is why we all want Ice Cream Sandwich! Ok, that's not the real reason, but we're all excited about Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, coming to HTC," Darren Krape, global community manager, HTC said.

Krape added, "As for timing, we're in the early stages of rolling out Android 4.0 for the HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE and upgrades will be more widely available in the next few weeks". The update for the Sensation 4G and Sensation XL will then follow, he said.
